It was the most astounding revelation in Huntington’s then new book, ” The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of the World Order” that he was presenting to the media at the Council on Foreign Relations on the upper east side of New York. This was a full 8 years prior to the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on September 10, 2001, a day, an event that none of us will ever forget.
